Above ground

Pitless weighbridge

Side-support beam structure mounted above ground level. The platform stays visible, so load cells, junction boxes and mounts can be serviced without entering a pit.

Choose it when

• You have straight approach length at the front and back
• Site has a high water table, rocky soil, or deep excavation is not practical
• Easy maintenance access matters more than saving yard length

Think twice if

Trucks can only enter from the front and leave from the back, so a short or side-fed yard is a poor fit.

Flush mounted

Pit type weighbridge

Merely-supported beam structure fitted inside a civil pit, with only the top plate visible. The deck sits level with the yard, so no approach ramps are needed.

Choose it when

• Yard space is limited and a long straight run-up is not available
• Vehicles need to approach from the front, back and adjacent sides
• You want the whole structure enclosed in the pit for better protection

Think twice if

The pit needs waterproofing, drainage and a safe service route — plan for this before choosing pit type.

Foundationless

Mobile weighbridge

Multi-modular platform that needs no civil foundation, supplied with or without ramps in the length and width your site requires. Built for temporary and seasonal locations.

Choose it when

• The site is temporary, seasonal or will be relocated
• You have a smooth, hard, level surface to place it on
• Civil work is not practical or not worth the spend

Think twice if

Ground condition decides accuracy — soft or uneven surfaces are not suitable.

Standard platform sizes and capacities

Platform length is decided by your longest vehicle, and capacity by the maximum gross weight crossing the weighbridge. Graduation and load-cell count follow from both.

Weighbridges are also manufactured to customer specification where a standard size does not fit the site.

2. Technical recommendation

   We advise the weighbridge type, platform size, capacity, load-cell count and graduation that suit the site, then quote against it.

3. Foundation specification

   Factory specialists specify the correct foundation for your soil condition and the right foundation type for the application site.

4. Manufacturing and testing

   High-strength platforms designed for concentrated loads using computerised stress analysis, with thorough testing and pre-assembly before delivery.

5. Installation and calibration

   Dispatch, site installation and calibration, with support for the Legal Metrology verification your site needs before trade use.

6. AMC and after-sales

   Preventive and periodical maintenance under annual maintenance contract by competent service engineers. Visits are made on demand and breakdown support is on call, through 24×7 customer care.

After commissioning, the same engineers handle calibration, AMC, breakdown repair and modernization.
